Aidan and I may be separated by like five states, but our schedules and a bunch of our friend's schedules lined up for one week in early August. We haven't formally played together in quite some time and we wanted to do something special to celebrate. Thankfully the good folks at Azzy's Den were willing to accomodate! The whirlwind turn-around time of relearning our material and working with our limited resources amalgamated into this strange little live album project we like to call "No Drums, Still Fun!" We try to embody the heart and soul of DIY, even if it means playing without microphones or drums. We believe shirking convention is something we all need to do more of these days, and we are happy to contribute any way we can. While these aren't the final forms of these songs, we are excited to share them in hopes that y'all will become just as excited as we are to unleash the fully realized studio versions. (Might even find a use for that improvised closer, who knows.) In the meantime, we invite you to listen in on this intimate live set. We hope you enjoy!
